How come you started working for USCPA exam? Today I had an event that reminded me of how I came to think that I have to work for USCPA exam.

I had a series of meetings with a British, a Chinese, and a Korean yesterday.

Every conference was accompanied by an interpreter of the respective languages.
Korean is far beyond my ability. I didn’t understand a single word without the assistance of the interpreter.

It was the same in Chinese. I could only say "晚上好。初次见面。我是nn。(Good evening. Nice to meet you. I’m nn.)" The rest of the communication would have been impossible without the help of the interpreter. But it was very inspiring; I thought I should keep studying Chinese (after I finish my USCPA study…)

And I admired the help of the interpreter of English, too. The conference couldn’t have finished in such a successful manner without her help, who is bilingual and have a long professional career in the field of interpretation / translation business. No matter how much confidence I might boast with my English comprehension, I can NEVER be professional like her, I thought.

Now that many people use English, especially in the business field, I have to have some sort of professional specialty in addition to my linguistic ability. This is what makes it necessary for me to work for USCPA exam.
